guess what! the defiant ones' first track is coming to the media player, and it's a banger! i hate those assholes (not really), but we here are all looking forward to eggs and yale showing their stuff. it appears that the great royal jefferson will join the group instead of co-producing their tracks. collaboration is king.

here are 2 covers of now defunct pairing of eggs carlisle and myself entitled...''Breakfast, Booze and Broads''. eggs and i got on really well, and we still do. things changed after maddie and i put out ''Maddie Loves Hubb''. eggs and yale wanted to be more involved in the web-stuff and it didn't work.

bad feelings and harsh words ensued. sides were taken, lines were drawn and here we are. a great collaboration basically shelved. tracks for this record will be available through thief gojira's music drop. coming as a blog entry near you.

this cover is dedicated to all the nights that thief and i watched bootleg Toho Scope monster pictures. thief gojira is one of the best artists ever! i'm phyched i met him as a kid. not many guys would listen, learn and grow when they met a geeky little kid who would start talking about art and music that wasn't hip-hop. we have come a long way. Chocolate Chess Is The Number One.



just the usaual goings on here at Chocolate Chess. hubb is at work on art stuff. thief is working on his new record ''Occupation Hustler...Non Prostitute''. king scum bag yale parker has teamed-up with fellow douche eggs carlisle to form ''the defiant ones''. their record will be called...''how to fuck hubb and become one of the group''. ha! thief's making them change the title. by the way i was here at Chocolate Chess before both of them. plus i actually work around here (music, writing, web-site-blog and office manager). those assholes make a couple of beats, then royal and clayton tighten them up and they think they're the shit! anyway on to something more positive. 80's Frankenstein, my new favorite, is finishing up cocaine radio vol. one. a mixtape of Chocolate Chess' favorite tunes. look for it soon.

another screen shot of the up coming 6 part comic. yeah, hubb made a decision about the projects presentation. we are all excited about it. the ''le grand hustle'' project will be our first venture into web-toons. thief besides working on music, is working on a new film script. yeah you've heard it before but now it's his turn to try. working on a video for the ''le grand hustle...epilogue'' got him going on some film project vibe...so now he's off. off as in off the video project. we here like the mini clips better anyway. mo music, mo clips.
